Usher has recently been propping up the stage in glitzy Las Vegas – but somehow found himself in a random street in North London this week… rollerblading.
The Nice & Slow singer has jetted over to the UK for a secret music project which apparently involved him shooting a music video in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.
Flanked by a camera crew, Usher, 44, looked suave in a grey tracksuit teamed with several thick chains hanging around his neck, a pair of sunnies and his hair dyed a golden shade of blonde. At one point, the R&B star was spotted wearing a luxurious grey fur coat as he cruised down the street flanked by two female dancers who each donned bright psychedelic outfits.
Usher’s love of rollerblading isn’t new and he regularly hosts star-studded skating parties with his celebrity pals, including Mary J Blige, Floyd Mayweather, Jermaine Dupri, Meek Mill and Gayle King.
Rollerblading has also formed part of the singer’s Las Vegas residency, with him showing off his footwork while performing Don’t Waste My Time.
Opening up about his love of skating, Usher previously told Essence: ‘Now imagine how hard it is to skate and sing! But looking at artists like Gene Kelly as a kid, I managed to be able to see these things that became inspiration to me.

‘I don’t know if I could even see myself in those characters because they were white. But there was something amazing about what they were doing that made me say, one day I’ll have the opportunity to be that.’
The My Way singer even hosted his 39th birthday at World On Wheels in Los Angeles in 2017, where the likes of Chris Brown, Omarion and Wiz Khalifa joined him in the skating rink.
It’s not known what music video Usher was filming in London as he hasn’t announced any new music or his next album.
