Knight Frank’s head of London residential sales Rory Penn has been named ‘Property Adviser of the Year at the Spear’s Awards 2022.
The Spear’s Awards recognise entrepreneurs, philanthropists and advisors to high-net worth individuals who have exhibited innovation and excellence in the world of private wealth during the past year.
Beating competition from nine other leading UK agencies, Penn’s win follows an incredibly successful year during which he helped expand the firm’s Private Office into the wealth hubs of New York, London, the Middle East and Singapore, working alongside Thomas van Straubenzee and Paddy Dring.
Penn, who is also chairman of the Knight Frank-owned Private Office has advised on and sold some of the largest and most prestigious trophy homes in the London market and of note, his last three house sales in London averaged £65m. I
In his new role as Head of London residential sales, Rory also oversees Knight Frank’s market-leading network of offices across London.
He said: “I am thrilled with this award at a personal level, but even more so for the recognition of the hard work and expertise shown by our London and Private Office teams over the last 12 months.
“They deserve all the credit! It is an evolving and dare I say it challenging market, and we are delighted to have delivered for so many clients across London and Country.
“Since the end of the global financial crisis 13 years ago, it has never felt so important to provide straight-talking advice and a truly personalised service for clients.”
The Spear’s Awards ceremony was attended by 400 people and hosted by broadcaster and journalist Nicholas Owen. It took place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London on 2 November 2022.
