Television star Copstick mugged by ninja robbers | Scotland

A Scottish TV presenter who was beaten up and mugged by two men dressed as “ninjas” claims that she was the victim of a targeted attack.

Kate Copstick, 66, from Glasgow, was robbed of £8,500 in cash in September. She had the money on her because she was travelling to Kenya the next day to aid the charity she runs.

She was attacked outside her home in Shepherds Bush, west London.

Copstick, who appeared on children’s television shows such as ChuckleVision in the 1980s, said police were studying video from a doorbell camera that might be used to identify her assailants.

Detectives have also interviewed several witnesses to the assault.
