Gilberto in 20.7 seconds! Where are the Arsenal team that helped make Champions League history at PSV now?

The only Arsenal Invincible who has gone on to manage the club, albeit only briefly.

Ljungberg was a legend as a player for Arsenal. Signed as a relative unknown from Halmstad in 1998, he scored on his debut against Manchester United and never looked back.

He went on to spend nine years in north London, winning two Premier titles and three FA Cups before going to West Ham.

After retiring as a player, Ljungberg returned to Arsenal as a youth coach and enjoyed a successful spell in charge of the Under-23s. He then took charge of the senior side on an interim basis for five games in December 2019 following the dismissal of Unai Emery.

Ljungberg joined Mikel Arteta’s coaching staff after the Spaniard was appointed as Emery’s long-term successor, but left the club in August 2020.

The 45-year-old still harbours hopes of returning to management, but has spent the past couple of years making a career in the media as a TV pundit.
