London Euston station cordoned off as paramedics rush to ‘seriously injured’ man | UK | News

Parts of London Euston station have been cordoned off following an incident this afternoon. The police response was prompted by reports of a man “seriously injured onboard a train”.

Platforms 14 and 15 have been temporarily closed off by police.

The British Transport Police (BTP) said officers were called to the station just before midday today.

Paramedics also attended the scene.

The man found “seriously injured” has been taken to hospital.

It said: “Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 234 of 07/10/22.”

One person at the scene told MyLondon they arrived in the afternoon to find the two platforms cordoned off.

They added that an Avanti train was waiting at one of the two platforms.

The paper noted that a white screen has been put in place with medical kit on the platform, and an air ambulance has been seen in the vicinity of the station.
