Firefighters from three stations tackle house fire in Harrow

25 firefighters rushed to a house fire in a residential property near Harrow Civic Centre yesterday afternoon shortly after 3pm.

Reports of the fire came into Harrow Online after the Brigade had successfully tackled the blaze at a house in Frognal Avenue.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Frognal Avenue in Harrow.

“Part of the first floor and a small part of the loft of a mid-terrace house was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

“The Brigade was called at 1523 and the fire was under control by 1643. Fire crews from Harrow, Northolt and Stanmore fire stations were at the scene.

“The cause of the fire has been recorded as undetermined.”
