Morgan, first elected to council in 2014, has already received the endorsement of London Mayor Ed Holder, who is not seeking re-election.

The nod by the three local MPs comes one day after the London and District Labour Council endorsed Morgan for mayor.

Morgan is one of 10 candidates vying for London’s top job. Former Liberal MPP Khalil Ramal, who represented London-Fanshawe from 2003 to 2011, London pastor Sandie Thomas, repeat mayoral hopefuls Dan Lenart, Carlos Murray and Sean O’Connell and Brandon Ellis, Daniel Jeffery, Norman Miles and Johanne Nichols are all running for mayor.

Advance polls open Oct. 8 and also run Oct. 11 to 15. London’s municipal election day is Oct. 24.
