PM Modi To Address All BJP Mayors On Futuristic Cities

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day National Mayors’ Conference to be held online in Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar on Tuesday. 

It is important that the growing urbanisation is viewed as an opportunity to work together towards building modern and futuristic cities, PM said in a tweet.

Modi said, “At 10:30 AM tomorrow, 20th September, will address a meeting of all the Mayors belonging to the BJP. With growing urbanisation, it is important that we view it as an opportunity and work together towards building modern, futuristic cities.” 

BJP Chief JP Nadda On Two-Day Visit To Gujarat From Sep 20

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from Tuesday. During this, he will take part in many programs and will hold meetings with local leaders, the party’s chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said on Monday.

BJP president will launch “NaMo Panchayat E-bike” programme in Gandhinagar and also attend a mayors’ summit on Tuesday, Baluni said.

Parts Of Delhi Get Light Rain, More Expected

Parts of Delhi received light rainfall on Monday as the maximum temperature settled a notch below the season’s average at 33.7 degrees Celsius.

The Safdarjung Observatory, considered the official marker for the national capital, recorded a rainfall of 5.8 mm while Lodhi Road received 4.6 mm of rainfall.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.

Humidity levels oscillated between 95 per cent and 77 per cent.

The weatherman has forecast generally cloudy sky with the possibility of very light rain on Tuesday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at 33 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius.
