King Charles III is proclaimed as the new sovereign across south London today.
The UK’s longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, died at Balmoral after reigning for 70 years.
She died at the age of 96 on Thursday afternoon.
Charles III was confirmed as King nationally at the Accession Council on Saturday.
Council civic leaders and representatives will now gather together to proclaim the accession of the new monarch.
And the public is also invited to join proclamations in their area.
