Chestertons appoints former Foxtons agent as head of …

Chestertons has named a former Foxtons and Keller Williams agent as its new head of sales.

It has recruited Matthew Thompson to the role.

With more than 15 years’ experience in London’s property markets, he will be overseeing the performance of Chestertons’ 31 branches and implementing new approaches to support the business.

Thompson started his career at Foxtons, quickly progressing to branch manager and later joined Douglas and Gordon as the South London area director before moving to Keller Williams in 2021 to drive the business’s presence in and around the capital’s central property markets.

He said:  “I am privileged to have worked in hybrid and traditional agency environments, which has given me the opportunity to weigh up the pros and cons of both business models.

“As the brand, its reputation and client relationships really are the key factors for any good estate agency to succeed, I have found that the high street model combines these factors most successfully whilst offering clients that extra level of customer care.

“Chestertons has an outstanding reputation as an agency that provides clients with the best possible service and I’m happy to be joining the team to help each of Chestertons’ branches reach its full potential.”
