Three people were arrested southwest of London Wednesday night after a break-and-enter was reported in progress.
Middlesex County OPP were called to a home on Bells Road in Middlesex Centre, near Southwold, after two masked suspects broke in with a gun and a bat.
The homeowner confronted the intruders, fled the home, and called police, OPP said.
Two suspects left the area on foot, with a third person in a vehicle.
Police canine teams found and arrested the two people on foot close to the home. Officers pulled over the suspect vehicle and took the driver into custody.
No one was injured.
