These banks in south London to close very soon- full list

SOME bank branches across south London are set to permanently close their doors. 

Data from the cash machine network, LINK, shows which banks have publicly announced in 2022 that they’ll be closing their branches. 

We found that two HSBC bank branches in south London have already closed this month.  

Another two bank branches have also closed today.  

Three HSBC branches will close in September.  

These are in New Malden, Beckenham, and Wandsworth.  

Halifax in Mitcham and Lloyds in Purley will also close at the end of November.  

A further two banks will see their doors shut in December.  

These are Barclays in East Dulwich and Lloyds in West Wickham.  

HSBC announced the closure of 69 bank branches earlier- it had already shut 82 branches last year. 

Here’s the list of banks that will permanently close:   

August: 

HSBC, Peckham (August 2, 2022): Rye Lane, SE15 5ET

HSBC, Sidcup (August 9, 2022):  High Street, DA14 6DN

HSBC, Eltham (August 18, 2022): High Street, SE9 1TD

Barclays, Sidcup (August 10, 2022): High Street, DA14 6DH

Halifax, Penge (August 10, 2022): High Street, SE20 7DS

September: 

HSBC, New Malden (September 1, 2022): High Street, KT3 4HD

HSBC, Beckenham (September 8, 2022): High Street, BR3 1BX

HSBC, Wandsworth (September 27, 2022): High Street, SW18 2PT

November:  

Halifax, Mitcham (November 22, 2022): Majestic Way, CR4 2JS

Lloyds, Purley (November 23, 2022): Brighton Road, CR8 2LP

December:

Barclays, East Dulwich (December 2, 2022): Lordship Lane, SE22 8HQ

Lloyds, West Wickham (December 12, 2022): High Street, BR4 0NR
