Daneche Tison named as man shot in heart outside west London flats | UK News

Police have named a man who died after being shot in the heart outside a block of flats.

Daneche Tison, 26, was shot in Bruckner Street, Queen’s Park, in west London in the early hours of 19 July.

He took himself to hospital after being shot and received treatment but died soon afterwards.

His death was the first fatal shooting in the capital since 31 October last year, one of 12 recorded by the Metropolitan Police in 2021.

The Metropolitan Police said a post-mortem confirmed Mr Tison died from a gunshot wound to the heart.

It also found he had been shot in the back.

Seven men aged between 21 and 27 were arrested on suspicion of murder. They have been released under investigation.

Mr Tison’s murder was one of the three gun killings in London in the space of six days.
