London Underground Service: Disruption continues as heatwave peaks

This morning travellers face major disruption as severe delays and part suspension batter nine Transport for London services lines.

London Underground Service Tuesday, July 19:

Both the Central and District Line are facing severe delays due to heat-related speed restrictions. 

Whilst the new and air condited Elizabeth Line has minor delays between Liverpool Street and Shenfield and between Paddington and Heathrow/Reading due to heat-related speed restrictions.

The Hammersmith and City line is currently suspended with no service on the line due to heat restrictions. 

Plus three lines are facing minor delays due to the restrictions with the Tram, Piccadilly and the Jubilee delayed. 

Users of the Metropolitan are facing severe delays due to speed restrictions with no service between Baker Street to Aldgate. 

Also, the London Overground has no service from Willesden Junction to Richmond and Romford to Upminster due to heat-related speed restrictions.

As well as, minor delays from Watford Junction to Euston, Clapham Junction to Stratford and Liverpool Street to Chingford, Cheshunt and Enfield Town due to heat-related speed restrictions.

Plus there is no service between Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside a faulty train at Wanstead Park is fixed.
