Hounslow stabbing live: First pictures of the victim, 31, as his workplace already raises thousands for his family

A 31-year-old man has died after being stabbed in the centre of Hounslow, West London. Met Police were called to Staines Road at 12.30am on Saturday, June 25, following reports of a “seriously-injured man”.

Colleagues of the victim are thought to have released his identity, believed to have been named as Karamjeet Singh. The 31-year-old man was described by colleagues as a ‘popular, kind, gentle and genuine’ man. Right Tiles, where the victim is believed to have worked, took to social media and GoFundMe to share the first pictures of the victim who sadly died on June 25.

Police and London Ambulance rushed to the scene and found a man with “stab injuries”. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s family have been informed and a post-mortem examination will take place to formally identify the man.

A cordon remains in place and a forensics tent has been erected outside The Moon Under Water Wetherspoons on Staines Road. Tributes have come flooding in for the man and flowers have been laid at the scene where he died.

There have been no arrests made and police are urging people who were in the area at the time of the incident have been urged to come forward with eye-witness accounts, photos and videos. Drivers have also been asked to come forward with dashcam footage.
