LAS update
The London Ambulance service have also given an update following this afternoon’s crash.
The crash, on Ripley Rd, Dagenham, caused traffic throughout the day as three veichles collided.
A car, van and lorry were all invloved and police have reported that the one man taken to hospital only suffered minor injuries.
A spokesperson from the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.18pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Ripple Road, Barking.
“We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a paramedic in a response car.
“We treated three people at the scene, and took one man to hospital as a priority.”
