A man has been rushed to a heart attack centre after a crash in West London this afternoon. Emergency services rushed to the scene on North Hyde Road in Hounslow shortly after 1pm on June 19. Footage from social media shows an air ambulance, paramedics and police vehicles at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told MyLondon: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 1.23pm on Sunday, June 19 to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on North Hyde Road in Hounslow. Officers attended. One man was taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.”
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service added: “We were called at 1.14pm today (June 19) to reports of a road traffic collision in North Hyde Road, Hayes.
“We sent an ambulance, two paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. The first paramedic arrived in less than seven minutes.
“We treated an elderly patient at the scene and took him, by road, to a heart attack centre as a priority.”
Traffic monitoring website Inrix is reporting that A312 The Parkway Northbound is closed, with queueing traffic due to the accident between A437 North Hyde Road and Bilton Way.
There is congestion to Jolly Waggoners Roundabout back over the M4 junction and southbound queues are back to Ossie Garvin. Routes through Southall are heavily congested as people divert.
London bus routes 195 and E6 buses are diverting. One social media user said she has been stuck in traffic for more than 30 minutes as a result of the incident.
