Hounslow stabbing live: Updates as man rushed to hospital after daylight attack

A 22-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Hounslow this evening. Police were called to the scene on Rosemary Avenue at 5.46pm on June 15 to reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service where they found the injured man. He was then taken to a west London hospital and his condition was assessed to be non-life changing.

Initial enquiries suggest the assault took place a short distance away in Heathdale Avenue where a crime scene remains in place this evening.

A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: “At 17:46hrs on Wednesday, 15 June police were called to reports of a stabbing in Rosemary Avenue, Hounslow.

“Officers attended with London Ambulance Service paramedics and found a 22-year-old man who was taken to a west London hospital. His condition has since been assessed as non-life changing.

“Initial enquiries suggest the assault took place a short distance away in Heathdale Avenue.

“Anyone with information should call police on 101, providing the reference 6050/15JUN. Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
