A police incident in West London has forced the closure of a major road this morning (Saturday, June 11). Metropolitan Police officers have shut the road in Greenford, Ealing, in both directions to respond to an incident.
According to traffic website Inrix, the incident is currently taking place on Whitton Avenue West. The road is shut between Oldfields Circus and Vernon Rise, between a Wetherspoon’s pub and Wood End Primary school.
The 487 bus services that runs between South Harrow and Willesden Junction has been diverted due to the closure.
Further information about the nature of the breaking incident is not yet known.
