Newham Council is advising residents to check out the road closures taking place as part of Ride London (, on Sunday 29 May. 

As there will be closures on many Newham roads – with some closures taking place from 4am on Sunday 29 May to 7.30pm the same day, disruption to travel is likely.

The advice from Newham Council is to check out the road closures in advance, by visiting: TFL Status updates page or Ride London’s road closure page. 

Parking prohibited along Ride London route

The Council also advise that you should not park along the route all day on Sunday 29 May, otherwise your vehicle will be removed. 

What is Ride London?

RideLondon, the festival of cycling, takes place from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 May 2022 across London.

On Sunday 29 May, more than 100 miles of road closures will be in place throughout the day – significantly impacting central and east London – for the RideLondon-Essex 100, the mass participation ride that will feature up to 25,000 cyclists.
