Bournemouth and Rangers linked with Palace goalkeeper raid – South London News

Bournemouth and Rangers have been linked with a summer move for Crystal Palace’s Jack Butland.

The Eagles are closing in on the free transfer signing of Sam Johnstone, who is out of contract at West Bromwich Albion at the end of June.

And Johnstone’s arrival is set to drop Butland down to third-choice keeper in SE25.

The Sun claim that Bournemouth, who won automatic promotion from the Championship, and Rangers are both “on alert” for the former Stoke City stopper.

They add that the Cherries may only be looking for cover in that area. Rangers’ number one Allan McGregor is out of contract this summer.

The same publication say that Coventry City are interested in taking striker Luke Plange on loan.

Palace signed the 19-year-old in January but he was loaned straight back to Derby County for the remainder of the last campaign.
