Two men have been stabbed in Bethnal Green this afternoon. A post shared by the Tower Hamlets Neighbourhood Watch Association said police were called to reports of a man in the street with a knife at around 4.30pm.
Soon after, paramedics alerted officers to a person with stab injuries in Pott Street. The post states officers found one man with a stab wound to his arm, and another with a stab wound to his torso. Both men’s injuries are understood to be not life-threatening.
MyLondon understands a crime scene was in place for some time outside Iceland on Bethnal Green Road. A suspect has been identified but an arrest has not yet been made.
