Millwall striker Zak Lovelace is reportedly wanted by Rangers as they are set to accelerate their interest in him.
The Lions teenage prospect has been offered a professional contract by the Lions.
It has been claimed that Millwall would be able to generate more than £1million in compensation if he was to sign for another English club.
Daily Record Sport are reporting that the Ibrox outfit are keen on striking a deal with the 16-year-old quickly.
They add that if Lovelace was to move across the border the Lions would receive less than £200,000 in compensation.
Lovelace made his first senior appearance for Millwall in their 1-0 victory against Coventry back in December.
At the time Lovelace was 15-years-old and that made him the second youngest player to ever feature for Millwall in a senior match.
The youngest was Moses Ashikodi, who featured against Brighton in February 2003. He was 100 days younger than Lovelace.
