A seven-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in West London on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Sutton Lane, Hounslow, shortly after 3pm on May 23 following reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
An air ambulance landed at the scene, where the boy was treated before being taken to hospital. His condition is not life-threatening.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told MyLondon : “Officers were called at approximately 4.20pm on Monday, May 23 to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Sutton Lane, Hounslow.
“London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended – a seven-year-old boy was treated at the scene for injuries before being taken to hospital, where his condition awaits.
“The car stopped at the scene. No arrests. Enquiries into the circumstances continue. Road closures remain in place while the scene is dealt with.”
