West Drayton stabbing: Young man in hospital after street attack

A 24-year-old man is in hospital after he was stabbed in West Drayton in broad daylight. The Met Police were called along with specialist paramedics in London’s Air Ambulance to the attack on Fairfield Road at 1.43pm on Thursday, May 19.

They found a man with stab wounds when they arrived. Surrounding roads were closed in the area as police investigated and searched for evidence.

A spokesperson from the Met Police said: “Police were called to reports of a stabbing at Fairfield Road, West Drayton. Officers, London Ambulance Service [LAS] and London’s Air Ambulance [HEMS] attended.

“At the scene a 24-year-old man was found with a knife injury. He was taken by LAS to a West London hospital. At this early stage there have been no arrests.

Police later confirmed the victim’s injuries are non-life threatening. Anyone who witnessed this incident or has moving footage should call police on 101. To remain 100 per cent anonymous call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
