Shepherd’s Bush live: Updates after man ‘slashed’ in broad daylight on common

A man has been rushed to hospital after being slashed in broad daylight in west London yesterday (Thursday, May 19). The Metropolitan Police were called at around 1pm to reports of a man suffering slash injuries on Shepherd’s Bush Common.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and the victim, whose age remains undisclosed, was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made so far, but the police’s enquiries into the circumstances of the crime remain ongoing.
