Young Tottenham fan with cerebral palsy scores penalty past club legend Pat Jennings in heart-warming moment at half time of north London derby

A young Tottenham fan had an experience he’ll never forget as he scored a penalty past club legend Pat Jennings in a heart-warming moment during the north London derby.

Ryley Keys, who was born three months premature, diagnosed with cerebral palsy and told he would never be able to walk, brilliantly stuck the ball past the former goalkeeper, who made over 450 appearances for the club.

There was a huge cheer as Ryley was subsequently congratulated by Jennings for his goal.

It was the highlight on what would’ve been a perfect night for Ryley as he watched his beloved Spurs give rivals Arsenal a hiding at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Harry Kane’s first-half double put Antonio Conte’s men in control of the derby, the first a penalty after Heung-min Son was fouled by Cedric Soares, followed by a header from close range.

Arsenal were reduced to ten men after 33 minutes with Rob Holding receiving two yellow cards for fouls on Son.

Spurs put the match beyond any doubt as Son poked the ball home early in the second half to seal a 3-0 win.

The result sees Spurs reduce the gap on fourth-placed Arsenal to just a point with two league matches left of the season.
