London crime: Boy stabbed in McDonald’s, 1 shot and man killed in hit-and-run in weekend carnage

It has been a busy weekend for the emergency services in London with a range of incidents across the city including a road crash which left a man in his 30s dead. The Metropolitan Police are still investigating a number of crimes including a stabbing and a shooting.

In Tottenham , a teenage boy was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a McDonalds’s early on Saturday evening.

In Hillingdon, a motorcyclist died on Saturday morning after being hit by a van. The driver did not stop.

In Victoria , a woman was taken to hospital on Saturday after being hit bit by a car. She is still fighting for life.

In Newham , a man was shot with an air rifle and and the gunman was tackled by unarmed police officers. The incident was also on Saturday.

Woman fights for life after being knocked down by car in central London

A woman is fighting for her life in a London hospital after being hit by a car in Victoria. Emergency services rushed to the scene in Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria at around 4.04pm yesterday (May 7) following reports of the crash.

The air ambulance and London Ambulance Service also attended the scene and the woman is being treated for life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

Motorcyclist killed in horrific ‘hit and run’ near Heathrow

Emergency services attended scene Holloway Lane, Sipson, with the Metropolitan Police confirming a motorcyclist in his 30s was dead and the other vehicle had failed to stop.

Police are still trying to trace the driver who fled the scene and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A person was injured yesterday (May 7) in East London after being shot in broad daylight with an air rifle on a street High Street North in Newham.

The man was arrested by unarmed officers and taken into custody. A pedestrian received minor injuries.

“Unarmed officers bravely confronted the male suspect and arrested h” The Met Police said. “One air rifle has been recovered.”

A teenage boy had to be rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a London McDonalds’s early yesterday evening (7 May) The victim was attacked in the Tottenham High Road branch at around 6.50pm.

He stumbled out of the fast food store and collapsed in the street outside a supermarket where police found him. He is being treated in hospital where doctors say he has escaped life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this stage and a crime scene remains in place. A picture shared on social media shows an air ambulance arriving at a park near the scene, and a witness said: “[McDonalds] staff were locked in and couldn’t leave.”

Man left with head injury after being ‘attacked’ in busy street

A man has been rushed to hospital after he was found seriously injured in West London on Saturday night (May 7). The man in his 40s as been left with a head injury after he thought to have been attacked in Harrow Road, W9.

His injuries were initially thought to be life-changing, but the Met Police have since confirmed the man managed to escape serious injury.
