American actor Jason Sudeikis, 46, was spotted filming in Richmond Park, West London for the upcoming third season of Ted Lasso. The hit TV star was seen with a camera crew as he wore his character’s iconic dark blue jumper on top of light sky blue shirt paired with beige chinos and trainers.
The comedian and actor was seen shooting a scene for his Apple TV series and was recognised by a star-struck passer-by, who filmed him whilst he was at work and uploaded the moment on the social media platform, TikTok.
Season three of of the show is believed to have began filming in London on March 6, however, there are reports that it won’t hit the streaming service until late summer or autumn 2022. The show, which first aired back in 2020, follows lead character Ted Lasso – played by Jason Sudeikis – a college American football coach hired to train a British football team; although what he hilariously lacks knowledge of the sport, he tries to make-up with his sheer determination.

The actor, who is the executive producer and star of the show and is best-known starring in films such as We’re The Millers and Horrible Bosses, has previously admitted that Ted Lasso was originally intended to be a three-season story, and is unsure whether the it should continue past that point.
“The story that’s being told – that three-season arc – is one that I see, know, and understood. I’m glad that they are willing to pay for those three seasons. As far as what happens after that, who knows? I don’t know,” he told EW earlier this year .
More recently he shared that he’s focusing on season three, and not thinking ahead. He said: “I feel like a real coach when I have to tell folks you can’t look at season 4 when we’re in the middle of season 3,” Adding: “We can’t worry about the championships when we’re in the first round of playoffs, you know?”
