A serious crash closed the A10 in both directions near Buntingford on Friday afternoon (May 6). Officers were called to the Buntingford Bypass around 12.30pm after reports of a crash.
Officers rushed to the scene and closed the road in both directions. Two people have been rushed to hospital following the crash, Herts Police and the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed.
The incident caused long delays in the area while emergency services worked. Traffic was reported to be heavy between the roundabout with Baldock road down to the next roundabout with London Road.

Station Road also saw some delays as drivers attempt to divert away from the collision. Motorists were urged to avoid the area where possible. The road reopened at around 8.15pm.
