London firefighters battled two blazes within seven hours overnight.

Fire crews called to a house fire at 693 Hale St. about 11 p.m. Monday found heavy fire and smoke on the upper floor, the fire department said.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze. Nobody was hurt and damage was estimated at $20,000.

Crews also responded to a fire at a chiropractor’s office at 616 Tennent Ave., southeast of Fanshawe Park Road and Adelaide Street, about 5:30 a.m.
