Greenwich stabbing: Man in his 30s stabbed to death in South London as police cordon off DLR station

A man in his 30s has been stabbed to death in a street in South East London. Police were called at 2.15am on Sunday, May 1, to reports of a man with stab injuries in Greenwich High Road, SE10.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and the victim was rushed to hospital. He died a short time later. The man’s family have been informed and the force says they will be supported by specialist officers. A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

Police on the scene have cordoned off the Greenwich DLR station today, and trains are running but not stopping at the station. Officers remain by the cordon this morning.
