The A124 Barking Road in East Ham is blocked in both directions. This is due to a collision and is affecting traffic from Keppel Road to A117 High Street South.
It is not yet known whether anyone was injured in the incident which took place in the early hours of Sunday. It is also not known when the incident will be cleared, although the authorities will be hoping it is done quickly as traffic is expected to build through Sunday and into the bank holiday.
National roads information service Inrix posted today at 4.24am: “A124 Barking Road in both directions blocked due to accident from Keppel Road to A117 High Street South.” There are bus diversions in operation affecting the 5, 238, 300, 325, N238 and N15 routes.
