Lewisham stabbing live: Updates as boy, 18, in life-threatening condition after being stabbed on A20 Lee High Road

An 18-year-old boy was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition after being stabbed on a busy main road in South East London today (Thursday, April 28). The stabbing took place on Lee High Road, a main road running through Lewisham, in broad daylight this afternoon.

The Met Police confirmed they were called to reports of a stabbing on the busy shopping road at 3.31pm. Police officers and paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) rushed to the scene, where they found an 18-year-old man with a stab injury.

The victim has been taken to hospital. A crime scene remains in place in the area, and enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made.
