North Circular traffic live: Updates as huge queues after horse rescued from busy road

Motorists are stuck in queueing traffic on the North Circular due to an earlier emergency services incident, where a horse was rescued from the roadside. Queues are tailing back from the Beckton Roundabout this afternoon (Tuesday, April 26) following the emergency on the southbound carriageway at about 4pm.

There is congestion all the way back to Redbridge Roundabout. Traffic cameras show huge queues with bumper to bumper cars.

Traffic monitoring website Inrix reports: “All traffic was held on the roundabout and on the slips, while a horse was escorted to a safe location not far from Gallions Reach Shopping Centre.”

MyLondon has contacted the emergency services for more information.
