Seconds out for a social season with a difference | Comment

I always try to get to as much of the English social season as I can, so after a great day at the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March, and with tickets in the bag for the Lord’s Test, I plan to go for the full sweep this year of every big event in-between. Although I’ll give Ascot a miss because flat racing is boring, and I skipped the Boat Race because acromegalic American postgrads don’t turn me on, and obviously the Chelsea Flower Show is for sissies.
