Hello and welcome to football.london’s Chelsea live blog on Monday. Following Sunday afternoon’s victory against West Ham United, we’re expecting to hear plenty of reaction as the Blues take a big step towards cementing a place in the Premier League’s top four this season.
Chelsea left it late, with Christian Pulisic finding the bottom corner on 90 minutes to hand the Blues maximum points against their London rivals at Stamford Bridge. It was an underwhelming performance from the Blues, but the results are what matter most at this point of the season.
The performance itself, though, perhaps pointed out some areas of the team that needs improving in the summer transfer window. With each passing day, the rumour mill continues to get more packed, with this obviously all dependent on the ownership situation right now.
