Officers are attending an incident in Acton this evening where a woman set fire to part of a property and threw burning items at police.
Police said in a statement that at around 4.00pm on Friday (22 April) officers attended a residential address in Strelley Way, Acton.
They said they were responding to reported concerns for the welfare of a woman who was having a mental health episode.
“The woman set fire to part of the property. She threatened officers at the location, and threw burning items at them before going onto a roof,” police said.
Authorities confirmed that two officers were treated at the scene but were not taken to hospital.
While the woman remains on the roof the fire has been extinguished by the London Fire Brigade and a cordon remains in place.
