Police looking for this man in unsolved London, Ont., homicide

Investigators trying to solve the murder of 30-year-old Lynda Marques want to talk to a man captured on a security camera who may have information about the North London homicide.

Marques was shot on September 10, 2021, at about 7:50 p.m. as she arrived at her home on Wateroak Drive in London’s Fox Hollow neighbourhood.

Police believe she was gunned down in the driveway by two suspects who travelled to London from the Toronto area and left immediately after her murder.

In March, police released photos of a black Volkswagen Jetta, discovered five days after the shooting on Meadowlily Road, south of the city. It had been stolen from Scarborough on September 5.

Police now say they would like to speak to a man wearing a black Adidas track top and a puffy vest about what he knows. They’re asking the public for help locating this man, or any information about his whereabouts the day before, and the same day Marques was killed.

They have yet to identify him.

Anyone with information about the Marques’ murder, is asked to call London Police at 5190661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Information can also be sent anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
