The family of a 15-year-old girl are extremely concerned for her welfare after she disappeared with a friend. Alliyah and Lina, both 15, have not been seen since Wednesday April 13, where they were spotted together in Walthamstow at around 3.10pm.
Alliyah is also from Walthamstow. Her sister Destiny Montaque, 18, told MyLondon: “I haven’t seen my sister in days.” She added: “They’ve gone off together, we don’t know where they are at all.” Destiny noted that Alliyah has no phone on her person, as it was confiscated by family the night before her disappearance.
She said: “So what’s happened is she’s left her phone – it was confiscated the night before – so she doesn’t have a phone. So she can’t contact us at all.” She is also thought to be without a change of clothes, and has not made any contact with her family.

Destiny explained that she is considered vulnerable due to her age and the circumstances. She described the situation as “out of character” for Alliyah, saying: “She has never run away before.” An appeal on Twitter shared by Alliyah’s cousin said she had gone outside, met a friend, and “never came home”.
It is thought that the two girls might be in Manchester. Destiny described Alliyah as wearing “blue jeans, a cropped puffer jacket, and white air forces”. She added that she is “5’7″, very slim and has brown locks and braces”.
She explained that she usually would have had contact with her sister daily, who she lives with at home in Walthamstow. Destiny believes that Alliyah and Lina may have travelled to Manchester with someone they know.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “On 13 April, police received a report of a missing 15-year-old girl in Waltham Forest. She was last seen on 13 April. Anyone who sees her, or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD 6276/13Apr.”
