M20: One lane blocked and slow traffic due to broken down vehicle on M20 London bound between Junction 9 A20 Fougeres Way (Ashford) and Junction 8 A20 Ashford Road (Leeds Castle / Maidstone Services). It is blocking lane one (of two) within the contraflow, halfway along.

Also on the M20: There are speed restrictions because of Operation Brock where all freight traffic heading for a channel crossing must go through the coned area on M20 coastbound between Junction 8 (Leeds Castle / Maidstone Services) and Junction 9 (Ashford).

However, the London bound side between J9 and J8 is now open to all traffic. Source:CCTV image, Highways, Highways Press Office.

All other traffic not heading for a channel crossing must or local East Kent freight must use the diversion contraflow on the other side.

Ashford: Somerset Road is partially blocked and the road surface is in poor condition due to burst water main between A28 North Street and Wellesley Road.

Dover: Jubilee Way coastbound is closed due to traffic management to prevent lorries from trying to bypass the holding areas between A258 (St Margaret’s At Cliffe / Deal Rondabout ) and A20 (Eastern Docks roundabout).
