The 16 European easyJet flights cancelled from Gatwick Airport on April 11

Airline easyJet has taken a total of 16 flights off schedule from Gatwick Airport today (April 11). The move comes as reported staff shortages have affected the Easter holiday getaway.

Coronavirus sickness and an increased demand for overseas breaks has caused a logistical issue at London’s airports over the last week. On the first weekend of April alone, easyJet revoked more than 200 flights due to reported staffing problems.

While today’s cancellations at Gatwick are far less – easyJet is keeping its scheduled flights going at London Heathrow Airport.
