Noel Gallagher has revealed he’s moved into Claridge’s hotel after the heating broke at his north London home.
The Oasis singer, 54, booked himself along with his wife Sara McDonald, 50, and children Donovan, 14, and Sonny, 11, into the five-star hotspot where rooms reach an eye-watering £14,000 per night.
He went on to claim that he ran into actor Sean Penn in the swanky establishment’s reception, before indulging in ‘a massive f*****g afternoon tea’ and a stroll through the nearby Soho district.

Claiming their family home is ‘freezing cold’ and will take a week to be restored, he told The Sun: ‘I was like, ‘F*** that, I can’t be a***d staying here, it’s depressing. So, we’re in Claridge’s, and why not? If you f*****g could, you would.
‘I had the day off, I was mooching around Soho and trying to avoid having my picture taken, so I decided I’d have a massive f*****g afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones and it was great.
‘I’d say this hotel is the best and I bumped into Sean Penn today — he was wandering around the reception. He took his glasses off and did a double take and I had a chinwag with him. He’s a dude.’

It comes after the Wonderwall hitmaker took yet another jibe at his brother Liam, 49, and claimed his iconic fashion choices are deliberate in an unearthed podcast clip from 2020.
The rocker fat shamed Liam with a cruel comment about his ‘big belly’ as he suggested that his brother had been concealing his weight gain with his parkas.
Noel told The Matt Morgan Podcast: ‘Usually when he is wearing a big coat it’s because he’s got a big thing to hide underneath – a bit of a belly.’

Liam is well known for his eclectic sense of style and huge parka collection as he often takes to the stage in the Sixties Mod attire.
In 2019, Liam revealed that he had been suffering from arthritis in his hips that had also caused calf pain, for which he was seeing an acupuncturist.
He was told by doctors to cut down on jogging after developing the condition, which causes pain and inflammation in a joint.
His appearance wasn’t the only thing that Noel brutally put-down as he also claimed that Liam’s singing was below par.

He added: ‘When I was writing in Oasis, in the early days, I’d always listen to Liam’s voice.
‘I’d write the melody in the style he sang until it became such a restrictive, narrow way of writing, where it’s like, “I can’t do this anymore.”
‘That’s when the songs started to change, because once you’ve done it, you’ve done it,’ he said.
