Berkshire Heathrow Airport, M25, M4 and A4 traffic updates for Reading, Staines and Slough – recap

Welcome to our daily traffic and travel updates blog for BerkshireLive on Sunday, April 10. Traffic is currently queuing on the M4, as planned roadworks continue to cause disruption to journeys this weekend.

The closure is in both directions between Junction 4b, onto the M25, and Junction 3, onto the A312 towards Hayes and Heston. On Saturday (April 9), the closures caused delays of up to an hour and similar disruption is expected today.

There have also been cancellations to flights at Heathrow Airport. This is due to ongoing issues with staff shortages and the fact that more people are travelling during the Easter holidays.
