A man was rushed to hospital today after being stabbed in Brixton, South London. Police went to Electric Avenue around 12:30pm this afternoon (April 2) after reports of the knife attack to find a man with a stab injury. A second man was found with a head injury and was arrested, while a third was also arrested because of the incident.
Police were joined by medics from the London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance who took the victim to hospital. The condition of the man is currently unknown. Police officers are still trying to work out what happened.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 12:30hrs on Saturday, 2 April to reports of a stabbing in Electric Avenue, Brixton. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. A man was found with a stab injury and taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.

“A second man was found with a head injury and taken to hospital. He was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident. A third man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm at the scene and taken into custody at a south London police station.”
