Two men slashed dog and swung massive knife at its owner in savage Northolt attack

A dog was attacked with a knife while being walked in broad daylight in West London by its owner, who also had a large knife swung at them. Police were called to Banbury Walk in Northolt at around 8.15am on March 29 to reports of a dog being attacked by two men. The dog sustained two slash wound injuries when two men began swinging a large knife at the owner.

The dog was taken to a nearby vets where it required numerous stitches to the wounds on its body but will make a full recovery. Meanwhile, the owner was uninjured.

Officers have issued an urgent appeal to the public for their help in providing any information following the incident. The men involved are described as wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.

Officers are asking for members of the public who may have information and for motorists to check any dashcam footage that may have captured the suspects to contact 101 quoting reference CAD 1514/29MAR. Alternatively you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 .

The Met posted on social media today (Friday, April 1) saying: “Officers are appealing for information after a dog was attacked with a knife whilst being walked in Northolt.
