An Essex road was closed by police in both directions following a rush hour crash. The A133 road in Weeley was blocked shortly after 8am this morning following reports of an accident.
Essex Police then closed the road in both directions between the B1033 and the B1442 Progress Way. The road was thought to be partially blocked prior to the closure.
An update from traffic and travel site Inrix reads: “A133 in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to accident between B1033 (Weeley) and B1442 Progress Way (Little Clacton). Congestion to London Road through Little Clacton and Clacton Road through Weeley.”

Police have confirmed that two people were injured in the collision, involving two vehicles.
