A woman was found stabbed to death at a home in East London this evening (March 24). The 40-year-old victim was found by officers from the Met Police along with the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
Officers were called to the address on Globe Road in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets just after 4.05pm on Thursday after concerns for the woman’s welfare. Police confirmed that the woman died at the scene and her relatives have been informed. They are being supported by officers.
The death is being treated as suspicious and detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been informed. No arrests have so far been made and a crime scene remains in place with enquiries continuing.
