Thornton Heath: Emergency services respond to ‘man on a roof’ in South London

Emergency services responded to reports of a ‘man on a roof’ this morning (20 March) in Thornton Heath, South London. A large emergency services presence was pictured at the incident.

Police were called at around 07.50am to report of someone on a roof in the Gillett Road area. “The man subsequently came down so all stood down now,” authorities said.

Brigstock Road was partially blocked in both directions due to the incident. It has since reopened.
