Teenage girl sexually assaulted in south London park


olice have launched an investigation after a teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in a south London park.

Officers were called to Burgess Park in Camberwell on Tuesday night to reports of the teenage girl being sexually assaulted.

A crime scene was established after officers were called to the park around 10.30pm.

The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers. Police from the Met’s Central South Protection team are leading the investigation.

No arrests have yet been made, said local police.
